The newly appointed Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army’s HQ 5 Infantry Brigade at Ngezi Barracks, Brigadier General Lawrence Munzararikwa, has committed to fostering a conducive environment for businesses to thrive in the province.
His pledge was made during the handover-takeover Ceremony, where he succeeded the outgoing Commander, Brigadier General Mpulaeng Siziba.
Brigadier General Munzararikwa emphasized the importance of businesses in driving economic growth within the province.
He explained the army’s role in supporting local enterprises stating that businesses are critical in the province’s economic growth.
He also recognized the essential contributions of traditional leaders, acknowledging their role as custodians of the country’s culture, heritage, and endowment.
