Zibagwe RDC procures CEO, utility vehicles

Zibagwe Rural District Council (ZRDC) has procured a vehicle for its chief executive officer and is in the process of acquiring four utility vehicles as part of efforts to improve revenue collection and service delivery.

Presenting a report during a full council meeting, ZRDC Chief Executive Officer Farai Machaya said council had completed payment of US$77 355 for the CEO’s vehicle and was awaiting its delivery.

He said council had also paid US$58 000 towards the procurement of four utility vehicles, which have a total cost of US$140 000.

Machaya said the utility vehicles are expected to enhance council operations, particularly in revenue collection and service delivery across the district.
