A 31-year-old Kwekwe barber, Rangarirai Mutangi, appeared before regional magistrate Rumbidzai Mugwagwa at the Kwekwe Magistrates’ Court facing two counts of rape and five counts of aggravated rape.
Mutangi was remanded in custody to 4 May 2026.
The accused had allegedly been on the run before his arrest on Tuesday, 21 April, following a police operation.
Prosecutors allege that Mutangi sexually abused two underage girls and committed aggravated sexual offences against five underage boys.
