Business Economic Empowerment Federation (BEEF) President Dr Solomon Matsa has called on government to urgently address delays in paying its service providers, warning that such setbacks are crippling business operations.
In an interview with The Public Eye newspaper Dr Matsa said prompt payments are critical to ensure continuity and sustainability of businesses that supply goods and services to government.
He added that delays in settling dues often result in cash flow challenges for companies, threatening jobs and economic stability.
Dr Matsa emphasized that timely payment would not only strengthen trust between government and the private sector but also contribute to overall economic growth.
