Redcliff Municipality targets to achieve city status by 2030.
Speaking during the commissioning of the municipality’s fire tender by the Midlands Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Owen Ncube, Redcliff Mayor Cllr Vincent Shangwa Masiiwa said the dream of becoming a city is achievable through improved service provision.
“Our dream of becoming a city by the year 2030 can be achieved through improved service delivery,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the Redcliff community and Stakeholders.
“I want to thank you for your continuous support, without you, we are a fish without water. We look forward to continued support until we reach our goal of becoming a city by 2030,” he said.
